I promised myself to draw more scenes, even though I have this horrible fear of failing at it, because 90% the time I draw something I'll be haunted by the feeling that something is wrong with it. And here goes the story how I stopped drawing scenery as frequently as I used to, say 3 years ago and here go my humble attempts at doing it again in hopes that I will improve the more I do it. P_P
Of course I'm being a dumbo and picked something hard: Fog.
Technically it's easy, but practically... it's not as easy, because it's hard to find a balance between too flat and hitting the proper values. I'm sort of happy with it, but not quite, so I'll leave the rest to more practise.
And technical details aside -
(left to right) Aeryn, Oliver, Urick and Adall somewhere in Novere heading south. It's a stupidly long story, so to summarize it briefly... Aeryn used to be the youngest prince, Adall and Urick are the oldest princes of Brittyr. Oliver is the novern Ark's (Hollo's) child of rather awkward affair with a gypsy, but not that it matters, he's just some former idiot that was bullied by Adall and Urick when he was of much younger age in Brittyr's royal court. He fell from a tree, lost a horn, this caused an uproar, because Adall and Urick just bullied a child of novern heritage and novern guests and king were really touchy over that incident. Urick and Adall were sent tracking traces of dragons with knights of honor Grell and Winterbottom, there they got lost for a couple of years, because it turns out the novern kingdom used that opportunity to backstab their treaty and trying to murder the princes. Turns out that Adall and Urick survived under lucky circumstances, and there goes the part where they wander aimlessly through kritian wilderness and try to survive. Eventually they want to return, but they are weak, and that's where they suddenly meet their youngest brother, Aeryn again, many years later, and Oliver is with him, because they both fled the royal court of Brittyr and lived as vagabonds... or something along those lines.
So, they stole a cart or something. Urick and Adall want to head home to Brittyr, because that's just on their road, and bare the eastern kingdom for highest treason and the attempt to kill them, while Aeryn and Oliver want to head into the deep south of lush, green lands of the Shires and Marteaux to become street artists.
Aaand so, they're heading south in brief union with their little brother and his friend, but their ways part at Brittyr again and they won't ever see again.
Aeryn is rather happy over their reunion (and I think he would rather if they joined him, than ever return to Brittyr again), but Oliver still resents Urick and Adall for the loss of his horn.
tl;dr. That and all of this is a part that hasn't been written about either (it's just rp, mind you, I have no proper writing skills at all), it's just speculation. we just planned it out yesterday randomly.
